Palm Coast, FL: Commercial Site Development Permit Issued to ABC Liquors Inc

The new store will be located on the northeast corner of Palm Coast PKWY and Old Kings Road

Palm Coast, FL – May 3, 2010ABC Liquors Inc. is building a new store on the northeast corner of Palm Coast Pkwy and Old Kings Rd, between Bank of America and Wachovia Bank. Development plans for this parcel have had to deal with drainage and access issues. Access must be from the Palm Coast Plaza side, not directly from either of the two thoroughfares. This is the first ABC Liquor Store in Flagler County.
The City of Palm Coast issued a commercial site development permit April 14th for the ABC site. Site development work is underway. The general contractor for the project is RD Michaels Inc. of Winter Park. Rd Michaels is also general contractor for a 7,528 square foot building under construction in Palm Coast Landing (Target Plaza). This commercial building will house multiple tenants, but the one most anticipated by local residents is Dunkin Donuts.
On the opposite side of Palm Coast Pkwy, Palm Coast Real Estate will be vacating their building by early July, relocating into the building formerly occupied by the Chiumento law offices. Known for years as "the Blue Roof," the real estate sales building will be demolished to make way for a new CVS Pharmacy store.

Can’t believe the Palm Coast Building will be dest

Just what Palm Coast needs, another drug store that will probably remove most if not every one of those beautiful trees and pave most of the property. We are not against development; however for years that has been one of the first buildings visitors see as they enter Palm Coast. Now it will be a CVS AND an ABC liquors on the opposite corner.
