Northeast Florida Bald Eagle Nest Cam Provides Live Video Streaming

What a spectacular opportunity to view hatchlings as they are tended in the wild by their parents, Romeo and Juliet.

December 29, 2013 – The American Eagle Foundation (AEF) has begun providing live video and audio streaming from a Bald Eagle’s nest near the coast in NE Florida. Named Romeo and Juliet, these National Treasures have occupied this nest for approximately seven years.

Click the link below for an incredible experience following Romeo and Juliet as they raise their newly hatched brood of two. CAM 1 provides detailed close views while CAM 2 gives wide angle views. The HD PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras operate 24/7 by using infrared at night.

VERY IMPORTANT:
THE AMERICAN EAGLE FOUNDATION WAS GIVEN THE SPECIAL PRIVILEDGE OF PLACING THEIR CAMERAS AND EQUIPMENT ON PRIVATE AND PROTECTED PROPERTY. THE AEF IS UNDER STRICT AGREEMENT WITH THE PROPERTY OWNERS TO NEVER DISCLOSE THE LOCATION OF THE NEST, AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, TO PROTECT THE RESIDENT EAGLES AND THEIR NEST TREE.  PLEASE RESPECT THIS REQUEST. THE AREA IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. PLEASE RESPECT THESE REQUIREMENTS AND REQUESTS.

    NEFL Eagle Nest Cam

I gives me great honor that Al Cecere, President/Founder, of “The American Eagle Foundation” partnered with me on this live eagle nest cam project in NE Florida. The purpose of the cam is to provide public awareness of our National Symbol, the Bald Eagle, as well as educating people around the world into the nesting habits of these magnificent creatures.

I would hope for those that are enjoying this live cam experience to consider donating to “The (non-profit) American Eagle Foundation”, so this “up close and personal” life-into-the-wild can be enjoyed for years to come. Your donation or request for membership can be simply done on-line right below the live stream.

    Amazing!

Thank you to those involved in erecting the live video cam so that we can watch Romeo and Juliette grow their little family. This is spectacular viewing and observers are fortunate to have this opportunity to view the nest up close. Also, thank you to Go Toby for sharing/publishing the link to the live stream.

    Romeo & Juliet next cams

I have been following these beautiful creatures for years. Why are the cams not in operations yet and when will they begin. I hate to miss one minute of their activities.
