Park Place site map - Palm Coast - GoToby.comPalm Coast, FL – July 17, 2014 – Palm Coast’s largest home-grown builder is moving forward with a plan conceived years ago, when the market was hot. Seagate Homes has dusted off plans for Park Place, a gated residential community on 37.73 acres off Pine Grove Drive in the city’s “P” section. Park Place will be patterned after Seagate’s successful Rivergate community, one mile to the west.

Park Place will have 123 individual building lots. Homes will generally run in the 1,500 SF to 2,300 SF range with prices from the $170s to the $230s. There will be a large central lake, clubhouse and pool.

The master-planned community was permitted during the hay days for builders but the market collapse stymied forward progress at the time. The plans have been updated and are going through final approvals at the city. Of the 123 lots, Seagate plans to build on about 80. The company will invite another builder to develop the remaining 40 lots.

Park Place marks another new community in Flagler County’s improving new-home market. Significant new construction is also occurring in the revitalized Beach Haven development (on A1A near Marineland), Hidden Lakes (on Old Kings Road) and Grand Landings (south of the airport). Site development has begun at Harbor View Marina, and Country Club Harbor. More established communities like Grand Haven, Palm Coast Plantation and Plantation Bay are seeing more new construction as well.

Hi Toby, We just sold our two models in Toscana (one on lease back, one owner occupied) and are permitting two more homes this month. It’s not “significant construction”, but we only have the developer/builder, ABD, in this community. Don’t forget us, please 😉
