The last stop was the former Palm Coast Shopping Center, soon to be reopened as Island Walk. Some of the new shops on the west side of the site have gone vertical. If you remember the old tomato stand; that’s about where the new strip stores are being built. The new Publix site is busy with site development. The only thing vertical at this stage are some light poles.

    Land clearing/construction Route 1

A large area has been cleared on route 1 (West side) about 2.5 mikes from the 95 exit 298 going South. Looks like it could be a major project. Any idea on what might be planned for this site? Thanks. J
