New TSO Certification Means Aveo Flagler Ready for Manufacturing Phase

Aveo Engineering LLC can now look for a Flagler County location and staff to manufacture high-tech lighting products for the company’s worldwide aviation, marine, vehicle, mining and industrial market

PALM COAST, FL – April 21, 2016 – Aveo Engineering LLC today announced that the company has received approval from the Atlanta Regional Aircraft Certification Office and the Orlando FAA MIDO office of Aveo’s quality system, and received a letter of transfer that makes Aveo’s Palm Coast location a TSO certificate holder from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The approvals state that Aveo’s quality system and company facility follow all safety and organizational standards set by the FAA. While working up to this point of approval, Aveo Engineering in Palm Coast has been functioning as a sales and distribution office of aviation lights produced by the parent, Aveo Engineering Group, headquartered in the Czech Republic.

These approvals now mean that the Aveo Engineering LLC subsidiary office is not only able to continue the business it has been doing since the announcement of its locating in Flagler County in 2013, but also begin the processes of finding the location, materials and staff needed to manufacture those same lights right here in Flagler County on a large scale to support the overwhelming demand from key entities in the aerospace industry of the Western Hemisphere.

This will immediately create new jobs in the assembly and electronic fields and long term create the need for employees in the fields of manufacturing, design, engineering, logistics and administration.
