Harbor View Marina Project on Colbert Lane Moving Forward

Both site plan and preliminary plat brought before Flagler County Technical Review Committee.

December 19, 2007Palm Coast, FL – The Harbor View PUD Agreement was approved by the Board of County Commissioners in July 2006. Now, seventeen months later, the owners of the property, Great Star Investors VIII, have taken the next step in the approval process by bringing the preliminary plat and site plan before the Flagler County Technical Review Committee. Once any issues with the committee are resolved, the project will come before the Board of County Commissioners for approval, most likely not before the February meeting.

Harbor View Marina was originally floated as a boating, marina project with new salt water canals through the development, connecting with the Intracoastal Waterway. What was presented today was a scaled down version with fresh water rather than salt water canals. They will not be connected to the Intracoastal Waterway. The plan calls for 160 single family residential units, 462 multi-family condominium units, and some commercial space.

Harbor View is located on the east side of Colbert Lane north of, and adjacent to, the old Lehigh Cement plant property. It’s bounded on the east and north side by Palm Coast Plantation. The main entrance to Harbor View off Colbert Lane is already built. It connects to the south end of Riverwalk Drive in Palm Coast Plantation.
