Aldi, Tractor Supply Co., Florida Power & Light, Chase Bank, 7-Eleven, Super Car Wash, Aspen Dental, Racetrac and National Guard.
PALM COAST, FL – October 22, 2016 – Harkening back on the many months during which there was no news about commercial development in Flagler County and Palm Coast, I’m glad to report that things have picked up decidedly. Here’s your latest update.
Shoppes at Palm Coast
This commercial development is on the southeast corner of SR100 and Belle Terre Pkwy, across from Target. The site plan includes a Tractor Supply Co store, an Aldi grocery store, two restaurants and a Gates convenience store/gas station. The Tractor Supply Co store is roughly 2/3 completed while site development continues on the rest of the property. Aldi has applied for a building permit with a contractor stated value of $1,200,000.

Florida Power and Light
A building permit has been issued for this rugged 25,436 square foot two-story office building across from the Hilton Garden Inn in Town Center. The building will replace two smaller existing structures at the site. It will serve as a base for “storm riders” to ride out a storm, making them immediately available to fix downed power lines following a storm. The Palm Coast Response Center will be the company’s first of seven to be built in the state. The contractor stated value for the construction is $5,500,000. FP&L paid a total of $121,385 for impact fees and permitting fees.
Island Walk: The Chase Bank is approximately 50% completed. Goodwill Industries has been issued an Interior Alteration permit to build out Unit 1201 (the space next to Mattress1One). The stated value of the improvements is $30,000.
CHASE BANK CONSTRUCTION
Beach Village: Fuel tanks are installed and construction has begun for the 7-Eleven convenience store/gas station on SR100 near Roberts Road.
7-ELEVEN CONSTRUCTION
The Super Car Wash on Cypress Point Pkwy is approximately half done.
The Aspen Dental building next to McDonald’s in the Kohl’s plaza is reportedly nearing completion with over 80% of the work done.
ASPEN DENTAL CONSTRUCTION
National Guard: An October 14 ground breaking ceremony marks the commencement of construction on a 76,708 square foot National Guard Army Readiness Center. The construction cost has been estimated at $22M to $23M.
Sabal Palm, the Protea Senior Living development, has commenced construction. The project is located on Palm Harbor Pkwy near Forest Grove and across from the entrance to the Hammock Dunes Creek Course.

Sometime ago you had a article about a cell tower going in on Colbert near Graham Swamp. Do you know if this is still in the planning or put on delay or dropped altogether ? We really need better cell service in Palm Coast.

Over by the last remaining chimney near sea ray boats I saw a sign that says something about Harbor side marine and shops any news ?

That project is moving forward. If you drive by now, you will see lot of dirt being moved. They have a permit to excaqate what will be the marina basin. By the way, the chimney will be disguised as a lighthouse. Very clever.
Update on Tractor Supply Co. Grand Opening
Are there any Grand Opening dates for Tractor Supply Co. Palm Coast? It looks like it has been stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
