October 22, 2016 – Harkening back on the many months during which there was no news about commercial development in Flagler County and Palm Coast, I’m glad to report that things have picked up decidedly. Here’s your latest update.
October 21, 2016 – GoToby.com’s House of the Week is a spectacular 6,219 square foot home on the Intracoastal Waterway in Island Estates, the gated private island community in Hammock Dunes.
October 21, 2016 – Existing-home sales rebounded strongly in September and were propelled by sales from first-time buyers reaching a 34 percent share, which is a high not seen in over four years, according to the National Association of Realtors®.
October 19, 2016 – The Federal Emergency Management Agency amended its Major Disaster Declaration late Monday to include Individual Assistance for Flagler County to assist residents with expenses related to Hurricane Matthew.
October 12, 2016 – Fees will be waived for 60 days, until Dec. 9, 2016, for the following permit types for damage incurred as a result of Hurricane Matthew. Below is information on the permits required, when necessary, and timing for acquiring those permits.

October 12, 2016 – Flagler County will be waiving some building permit fees to fast-track the permitting process for those whose properties were damaged by Hurricane Matthew.
October 11, 2016 – This year’s Biketoberfest® begins on Thursday, October 13th and runs through Sunday, October 16th. The following information is being provided in advance of the event to educate visitors about a traffic detour on scenic Route A1A.
October 1, 2016 – Yesterday, Flagler County Emergency Management issued a weather advisory, urging Flagler County residents to prepare for the expected arrival of Hurricane Matthew during the upcoming week. Since the advisory, Matthew has strengthened.
September 30, 2016 – GOBankingRates surveyed 61 out of the 100 most populous cities in the U.S. to find the best and worst cities to own investment property. And according to their analysis, Orlando ranked No. 1 as the top metro area in the U.S. to own investment property, with Tampa coming in second.
September 25, 2016 – The resurgence of a robust residential real estate market has spawned several commercial projects in Flagler County. Here’s an update on recent activity representing millions of dollars in construction value, permitting and impact fees, as well as future property tax revenue for both Palm Coast and Flagler County.

WASHINGTON – September 21, 2016 – In 80 percent of measured U.S. metro areas, the number of new homes under construction falls short of demand based on the number of new jobs, according to a study conducted by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR).
September 13, 2016 – A list of the top 25 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA) with the greatest second quarter year-over-year single-family rental (SFR) price increases included five Florida MSAs. Deltona-Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach, which includes all of Volusia and Flagler counties, ranked #4.
September 9, 2016 – GoToby.com’s House of the Week returns again to Island Estates, the very private Intracoastal Waterway community only yards from the Atlantic Ocean. Island Estates is a two-mile long island with 200 home sites along the Intracoastal Waterway.
September 8, 2016 – Protea Capital Partners with North Star Senior Living have begun the construction of Sabal Palms of Palm Coast, the city’s newest senior community. A Site Development permit has been issued and silt fence, tree barriers and a port-o-john are on site; always reliable harbingers of impending new construction.
