Flagler County Unemployment Down but Still Highest in State

Florida’s Agency for Workforce Innovation released Florida unemployment data by county today. Flagler’s rate is down from 16.2% to 14.9%. It was 15.6% last February.

Palm Coast, FL – March 25, 2011 – According to a data released today by Florida’s Agency for Workforce Innovation, Flagler still leads all other Florida counties with an unemployment rate of 14.9%. That’s down from 16.2% in January and 15.6% last February. Florida had an 11.0% rate in February. The U.S. rate was 9.5%
Rounding out the top 10 Florida counties are:
  1. Flagler – 14.9%
  2. Hernando – 13.9%
  3. Hendry – 13.4%
  4. Marion – 13.2%
  5. St. Lucie – 13.0%
  6. Indian River – 12.9%
  7. Pasco – 12.5%
  8. Citrus – 12.1%
  9. Hamilton 12.1%
  10. Dixie -12.0%
St. Johns County rate of 9.2% ranked 51. Volusia County’s rate of 11.5% ranked 22nd.
