Belle Commons (shopping center) will be built on 12.9 acres at the southeast corner of Belle Terre and SR100. Lowe Enterprises is developing the site for National Recreation Properties. The development consists of four buildings totaling 81,300 square feet:
-
Main building (in-line shopping center) – 63,287 sq. ft.
-
Building 2 – 4,028 sq. ft.
-
Building 3 – 8,960 sq. ft.
-
Building 4 – 5,025 sq. ft.
No additional approvals are required for Belle Commons. (Belle Commons site plan)
Editorial aside – The Planning Board insisted that two dumpsters in the Belle Commons plan be relocated away from Belle Terre and SR100. I presume this is to provide a more aesthetic backdrop for the political signs which proliferate there.
