City Walk Nears Completion
May see occupants within City Walk in June
April 23, 2008 – Palm Coast, FL – 160,000 square feet of additional retail, office, and restaurant space will soon be available in Palm Coast as City Walk nears completion. The three two-story buildings are located on Cypress Point Pkwy south of the Wal-Mart Supercenter. The project had originally expected to open in late ’06 or in ’07. City Walk is built in a courtyard style with interior parking.
I spoke today with Bhagwan Asnani, owner of Interstate Holdings, the Lake Mary based developer of City Walk. He told me that he expects to get a Certificate of Occupancy for building "C" in about a week, building "A" about a week later, followed by building "B" one week after that. Some of the condo units have sale contracts, but the majority will be leased. The interior of the units are "unfinished" and will need build-outs. Asnani says we will probably see occupants within City Walk in June. Asnani would not divulge the names of any tenants, citing competitive confidentiality as the reason.
Asnani also plans to develop three other properties he owns in the area:
-
4.3 acres located next to City Walk (on the south side)
-
10.2 acres located south of the Holiday Inn Express near the Interstate 95 interchange at State Road 100
-
89.74 acres located along nearly one mile of the east side of US 1 south of Belle Terre
